If you cannot use a facial cleanser on a twice-per-day basis, it’s best to use it at night, prior to sleeping. This way your skin can reap the benefits of the cleanser without any interference by outside elements.
Using a cleanser prior to applying an eye cream is a great way to ensure the surface of the skin is clean. Clean skin reacts much better to anti aging creams than skin that may have clogged pores or other types of dirt on the surface.
