Below is an overview of the many topics we will cover in March of 2010. 

• Eye cream Ingredients:

A full analysis of several of the key ingredients that we are seeing in some of the recent eye creams coming to market.  We have been receiving MANY questions in particular about Matrixyl and Matrixyl 3000, copper peptides that are used in many anti aging eye & wrinkle creams.  In addition to identifying the history of these two ingredients, as well as the differences, we’ll cover concentration amounts used in some of the popular eye creams. The information being spread on the web differs quite a bit, depending on who you listen to.  There are many people out there reporting on this product that are affiliated with companies trying to sell inferior products, and quite frankly, they don’t know what they are talking about.   A website that reviews eye serums has done a pretty good job at covering this topic already, and we hope to expand on it.   You can read about Matrixyl & Matrixyl 3000 by following the link in the meantime. 

Other ingredients we will delve into this month include stem cells, gold and caviar.  While these seem like fads or marketing ploys, it’s hard to argue with the science behind these ingredients.  Don’t miss the research reports as these ingredients are popping up in new eye creams each month.

• Eye Cream Testers Wanted!

There are a few companies who have asked us to review their eye creams.  We thought that as a token of gratitude to our readers, we’ll pass along the opportunity to a few lucky people in return for a full, honest review.  If you are interested, please email sales@eyecream.com.  There is no cost associated with this opportunity, but it’s limited to 25 people, so don’t delay.  We have a general form with a few questions that we’ll ask you to fill out after you use the eye cream in it’s entirety.  We’ll also be asking for permission to post those reviews online as part of the program. 

• Eye Cream Glossary

We’ll be adding some often-used terms in the eye cream niche and give a definition of each, in Layman’s terms.  Since some of the best eye cream ingredients are cosmceceuticals and virtually unknown to first time eye cream buyers, it’s important they are defined properly.  We’ll also define some of the terms that are starting to be used more often in the eye cream industry.  If you look around, many of the top eye creams are actually serums.  We’ll define what this means for you as a potential buyer so you can understand what exactly you are investing in.
